Are you upgrading form a soft tonneau cover to one of our Roller covers or hard lids?
Soft Tonneau covers are fitted with brackets and pop rivets, when uninstalling the cover the pop rivets will be drilled out and paint applied to seal the holes.
Getting those rivets out was way easier than I feared, the removal kit saved me a ton of time and frustration before I could mount the new hard cover. The instructions were clear enough that I didn't have to guess at anything, and now the bed is ready for the upgrade.
The pop rivets were exactly what I needed to deal with—so much easier to drill out than I dreaded, and the bracket removal went way smoother than my last soft cover swap. If you're moving to a hard lid, this saves you the headache of guessing what's holding the old one down. Got the whole thing off
